Our eyes are a treasure that must be protected and maintained :)
These black plastic glasses with small holes are called pinhole glasses, glasses with holes, or mesh glasses.
How do glasses with holes work?
The small holes force the eyes to focus naturally and effortlessly. It's a bit like squinting: images appear sharper and annoying light reflections decrease.
These glasses build the optic nerve and your eyesight improves over time. They can have a beneficial action on presbyopia, myopia, astigmatism or farsightedness and help prevent these dysfunctions. They are also beneficial for people with cataracts.
Pinhole glasses are ideal for screen exposure because they filter harmful blue light.
The glasses with holes can also be used as rest glasses, to refresh the eyes, after long hours of work or driving.
It is recommended to use them between 15 and 30 minutes each day, doing your usual activities: enjoying nature, your television nights, reading, going out in the sun (it does not filter UV rays) ...
Do not use them for more than an hour at a time, to allow your eyes to return to normal.
Glasses are prohibited when driving, and you should only wear them for reading if there is sufficient lighting.
They are not recommended for any activity that requires attention to the environment, for example, crossing the road, following a winding road in the mountains, jogging in a public space ... etc.
