Resin Elephant

This wall decoration rolls up and unrolls like a parchment. There is a small rope at the back which allows it to be attached to the wall using a nail. It is an original and typical decorative item from Thailand. It is entirely handmade, and represents a mother elephant with her calf in a river, at the foot of waterfalls.

This wall storage, in thick and solid fabric, is composed of 3 colored pockets, arranged vertically, on a black background. The 3 pockets are beautifully embroidered and decorated with elephants and typical Thai geometric patterns. There is a wooden stick at the top, and another at the bottom, for good support, and a black cotton cord, at the top, allowing you to hang your storage on a nail for example. It is ideal in the bedroom, the bathroom, the living room... Height 80 cm without the cord, 105 cm with the cord.

This beautiful wooden chest measures 20 cm in height, 25 cm in width and 18 cm in depth. The interior of the trunk is lined with red velvet. The top is decorated with metal plates depicting an elephant trunk up, free in the savannah, as well as rows of flowers. This very beautiful handicraft is made in northern Thailand.

This very pretty "elephants" wooden box is handcrafted in India. It measures 23 cm in length, 12 cm in width, and 6 cm in height.

It is made by hand, with wood, bleached by white lead. This technique consists of hollowing out the wood, then filling it with a light, white wax, which will nicely highlight the decorative motifs.

This Chinese Laughing Buddha in green resin is 8 cm tall and comes from Nepal. It depicts Budai, a Buddhist monk who lived in 10th century China. Far from presenting the image of an ascetic life, the big Buddha is not the historical Buddha, who was rather slender.

Budai statues are traditionally considered lucky charms. They are found in most Chinese homes as well as many Asian temples and restaurants.
